The aim of the guitar workshop is to help people with little or no experience of the guitar to understand the basics of guitar playing and to learn to play their choice of music. |

In a friendly
informal environment members learn to play basic chords and melodies,
learn which chords can work together and why, and learn to play with
other people. All of which builds confidence and is a good foundation
on which to build on |

| As Swansea has a vibrant and diverse music scene, help is also given in areas such as playing in a band, songwriting, arranging and performing for other peoples enjoyment

The workshops progress at the members' own pace and are centred on the 'pupils'. The aim is to enable the members to learn what they wish to learn regardless of the style of the music. All are welcome to join in and learn what is an enjoyable and creative pastime. It is hoped that we can send you on your way as an accomplished and respected musician.

We now offer a Music Technology workshop which covers digital audio recording and midi arranging.

| The workshops run from 11.00 - 4.00 on Mondays. Terry is also going to teach an extra 2 hour guitar session on Thursday mornings 11am-1pm starting on 26th April. This will run until 31st May (so only 5 weeks) and it will be one to one sessions for half an hour each so members need to book these The Music Technology sessions currently run on Thursday Afternoons.
