The pottery class is suitable for people with little or no knowledge of the medium. Members are taught how to hand build with clay using time honoured techniques such as coiling, slabbing, and slip casting in order to make vessels. They are also taught decorating techniques using slips and glazes prior to firing the work.

Individuals are not limited to making pots and bowls, but are encouraged to be creative in their approach.

Additionally individual members have produced a vast range of items from wall plaques and planters though to table lamps and sculptural forms.
